AARC’s Health Equity Clinic offers people living with HIV a wide range of support services, including leading-edge medical care.

The Alamo Area Resource Center has been caring for people with HIV since the earliest days of the epidemic. Whether you recently tested positive for HIV or are a long-term survivor, the doctors, nurses, and other providers at our Health Equity Clinic provide the expert, sensitive care you deserve.

AARC’s wrap-around care model practices a holistic approach to treatment, helping clients manage all aspects of living with HIV, through counseling, nutritional advice, and transportation support. In fact, no organization offers a wider range of specialized services for people living with HIV.

In addition to physicians and nurses, our health staff includes social services caseworkers, mental health counselors, and a staff nutritionist. And our on-site Pharmacy makes it easy and quick for you to fill and pick-up your prescriptions.

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, United Health Care, Medicaid, and Medicare. If you are uninsured, we can help determine your eligibility for medical and drug assistance programs.
