Housing Works Project |
The Greater San Antonio Housing Works Project was established by
The Alamo Area Resource Center to assist clients in locating and
securing safe, affordable, and special needs housing. This
program, which includes a simple, fast search process via an Internet
website, allows clients to locate housing to meet their individual
needs. Housing providers also benefit from this program as it
provides an affordable way for providers to list information about their
properties.
The
San Antonio Greater Housing Works Project has expanded to
include Housing Case Management services for clients who need additional
assistance in locating housing. The AARC Housing Specialist has
developed a strong network of housing resources and is experienced in
completing housing assessments and helping clients to locate long-term,
affordable housing. Intensive housing case management services are
also provided to clients in transitional housing to assist them in
securing permanent, independent housing.
Eligibility Requirements:
Housing services are available to any individual who is HIV+.
A referral from a Case Manager is not required.
